of travel insurance plans. Each plan provides the Insured a unique
level of coverage, and many can be purchased together to suit the
needs of your particular trip:

Annual Multi-Trip Travel Medical
Insurance: Emergency Excess Hospital/Medical
insurance coverage that covers the Insured for multiple trips of
specified durations over the course of a single year. Available to
Canadian residents only. Available to Canadian residents covered by
provincial government medical plan only.

Trip Travel Medical
Insurance:
Emergency Excess Hospital/Medical insurance coverage that covers the
Insured for single trips world wide including USA or plans which
cover you world wide excluding USA, and
plans which cover you travelling within Canada. Available to Canadian residents
covered by provincial government medical plan only.

Visitors to Canada Travel Medical
Insurance: Emergency Excess Hospital/Medical
insurance coverage that covers Insured individuals visiting Canada
for single trips.

International Student Travel
Medical Insurance: Emergency Hospital/Medical insurance
coverage that covers Insured students of foreign nationality,
enrolled full-time in recognized institutions of learning, for
single trips.

Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption: Before- and
After-Departure Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption insurance
coverage for single trips. Available to Canadian residents only.

Air Flight/Common Carrier 24-Hour
Accident: Accidental death, dismemberment and bodily
injury insurance coverage for single trips. Available to Canadian
residents only..

Baggage & Effects Travel
Insurance:
insurance coverage for the loss, damage, destruction or theft of
baggage, personal effects and personal currency for single trips.
Available to Canadian residents only.

Rental Car Physical Damage Protection: Insurance coverage for the Physical Damage or
Loss of a leased or rented automobile for single trips. Available to
Canadian residents only.

will contain the policy and claims information you need to take on
your travels.

Policy Options
The following options
are available with most of the plans listed above:
- Extensions: Insured
individuals may obtain coverage for additional days for their single
or annual insurance policy by purchasing an extension. Extensions
are available prior to or after departure, subject to certain
conditions.
- Upgrades: Insured
individuals may upgrade their plan duration or coverage options
after purchase. Upgrades are available prior to or after departure,
subject to certain conditions.
- Top-Ups:
Individuals who have coverage for a portion of their trip under
other health insurance plans may purchase Travel Underwriters travel
insurance as a "top-up", which covers the individual for the full
duration of their trip. Top-ups may only be purchased prior to
departure.

Availability
Travel Underwriter's insurance plans
are only available to Canadian residents covered by their respective
provincial government medical health plan. The plan is not available to residents
of Alberta, Sask., Manitoba or Quebec if NOT purchased online, unless
you contact Travel Underwriters directly at: 1-800-663-5389 & quote
TFG456. It is not
available to people already travelling outside Canada - they should purchase plan online
HERE.
YET, Travel Underwriter's Visitors to
Canada plan is available to non-Canadian residents who are not covered
by provincial medical plan and are already in Canada or are travelling
to Canada and require coverage
